The program of code learning workshops, launched and implemented by KEAN as a pilot program for 60 students in the summer of 2017 with the support of the EIT-European Institute for Innovation and Technology and Google, continues, this year, and extends to 600 students in Attica, the Peloponnese and Thessaloniki.
“Girls Coding II – Digital Coding: Workshops for Digital Coding Skills”, implemented by KEAN with the help of Google and the support of the non-profit platform MADE have already begun!
The training material was prepared specifically for the purpose of the workshops by specialized personnel and is aimed at students aged 12-17 years.
In Korydallos, with the support of the Municipality, code learning workshops are to be held on 9 & 10 February 2019 at the premises of the 4th secondary school of Korydallos.
In Thessaloniki, with the support of the Municipality, the program will be hosted in specially equipped labs of the E. Mantoulidis Private Schools on the 15th – 17th of February 2019. The workshops are free of charge, and after completion, students will be given follow-up certificates, this will be followed by a contest and awards for the participants and the best performances.
